Baby in Waiting
August 2008 from Harlequin American
When Brooke Bernard learns she's pregnant, she knows
exactly what's missing from her soon-to-be family: a
Daddy. That certainly isn't Oliver Armstrong, Brooke's
new roommate. Oliver may be gorgeous and caring, but
the ambitious developer definitely isn't father material.
When Oliver agreed to let free-spirited Brooke move in
with him temporarily, he should have known she'd turn his
life upside down. Now she wants him to help her find a
suitable husband! But while he's weeding out all the
Mr. Wrongs, Oliver can't help developing an unexpected
opinion about who Mr. Right will turn out to be.

New Reviews
From
www.wereallydig.com
"I know it's just been the books that
I've been reading lately, but it seems that many of the
recent contemporary books have been tired and not keeping my
full attention. The Family Next Door has
brought the life back and welcomed me home to Harmony
Circle. The first in a trilogy, this book starts out
fresh in idea and the characters feel so alive that you
could almost see them next door calling you over."
From
www.cataromance.com
"Thank you, Ms. Diamond, for this
touching narrative, The Family Next Door. I'll
be looking forward to more stories from Harmony Circle.

Jackie on the writing
life
My husband once
commented that I'd spent all day alone. That
surprised me, even though I had in fact been sitting in
my office that particular day, working on a novel--no
on-line chats, no teaching. But I was surrounded
by characters. My hero flirted with me. My
heroine confided her problems. Their friends and
colleagues and relatives paraded through my brain,
reminiscing and squabbling and demanding their share of
the spotlight.
What I really needed,
after a day at the computer, was some peace and quiet.
